Peggy Blankenship, CAE
President/Owner
Important things to know about Peggy…
Peggy began at Accent on Management as an Association Executive in 2001 and is currently the President and Co-Owner. Throughout her career, Peggy has worked with a wide variety of associations and currently works with clients in the healthcare industry. She offers full management to these associations, including board governance, financial management and event planning. She particularly enjoys working with her clients to produce new resources and technologies to keep the associations innovative and moving forward. Peggy is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and holds a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
Interesting things to know about Peggy…
Peggy married her high school sweetheart and they live a happy life in Powell, OH, with their two children, Madeline and Samuel. In her free time, she enjoys the thrill (and heartache) of watching Cleveland Indians baseball.
Kate Brunswick, CAE
President/Owner
Important things to know about Kate…
With over 20 years of experience in association management, Kate has worked for small, medium and large statewide, regional and national associations. Her specialties lie in strategic planning, board governance and financial management. She began at Accent on Management in 1999 as an account executive and is currently the President and Co-Owner. Kate is also the Executive Vice President for AIA Ohio, a component of the American Institute of Architects, and the Executive Director for the Association of Life Insurance Counsel. Prior to coming to AOM, Kate worked for an association management company in Durham, NC, for five years. She earned her CAE designation in 2002.
Interesting things to know about Kate…
Kate is a Mom to two of her favorite people, a vegetarian, and yoga enthusiast. Her favorite way to relieve stress is by kneading dough for freshly baked bread. She is unapologetically a life-long Buckeye fan.
Gwen Berlekamp, CAE

Important things to know about Gwen…
Gwen Berlekamp, CAE, joined AOM in February 2024 as the Executive Director for the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists (MSO). She brings over 20 years’ experience in association management to her position most recently as the Managing Director of the Component Collaboration and Resources team with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in Washington, DC, and prior to that as Executive Director of AIA Columbus, a local chapter. She has experience in arts management, corporate grantmaking/public affairs, commercial film production and advertising. She is a graduate of Denison University and earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 2012.
Interesting things to know about Gwen…
In her spare time you can find her in a pool somewhere swimming laps! She is the mother of two adult children and loves to travel. A native of Ohio, she has previously lived in San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Vienna, Austria, and claims she can have her bags packed and be walking out the door in 3 hours for a trip anywhere.
Korryn Berry

Important things to know about Korryn…
Korryn joined the Accent on Management team in December of 2022. Korryn graduated from The Ohio State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s in strategic communications specializing in social media and marketing tactics. Korryn is currently the Association Services Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the Ohio State Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the Maryland Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and the Ohio Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.

Korryn is a small town girl who grew up about an hour north of Columbus. In her free time, Korryn enjoys any type of creative outlet and often spends her free time painting, reading, and crafting. When she goes out, Korryn loves to explore new places and try new things. She also enjoys spending lots of time with her friends, family, and pets.
Kristin Carnegis

Kristin joined our team in November 2023. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Bowling Green State University with a specialization in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management. Kristin is currently the Association Services Coordinator for the South Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (S.C.A.N.A.), the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (OAAPN), the School Nutrition Association of Ohio (SNA Ohio), and the Association of Veterans Affairs Nurse Anesthetists (AVANA).
Interesting things to know about Kristin…
Kristin is originally from Dayton but currently lives in downtown Columbus. She enjoys taking her dog Rudy to the park and cheering for the Cincinnati Bengals with her family. She also enjoys being home with a book in one hand and coffee in the other.
Marilyn Evans

Important things to know about Marilyn…
Marilyn joined AOM in May of 2024 as the Executive Director for the Maryland Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Marilyn came to AOM with nine years of association experience, previously working for the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. She specializes in membership engagement, event management and sales, marketing and branding, and continued education coordination. Marilyn has also spent many years working for local non-profits such as Family Promise of Delaware County, The Big Bus in Westerville and I Support the Girls in Columbus! Marilyn is a proud graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, located in the beautiful hills of Buckhannon, West Virginia.

Marilyn loves spending time with her Mini Bernedoodle Selene Marie, who was adopted in 2021. They spend most of their time enjoying treats, going on long walks, and cuddling on the couch watching Bravo!
Judy Fitz
Bookkeeper
Important things to know about Judy…
Judy has over 30 years of experience in business-related positions, including Business Analyst, Auditor, Billing Specialist, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accountant, and Bookkeeper. Her varied experience and knack for organization comes in handy when managing the accounting department for Accent on Management, responsible for the bookkeeping for all of AOM’s clients. She joined Accent on Management in 2013.

Judy enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and riding bikes. She also enjoys quilting, crocheting, and working on puzzles in her spare time with her loyal Labrador, Cinder, at her side.
Angela Flynn

Angela joined Accent on Management in 2019 as Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Ohio University and has worked with both local and state associations. Her areas of expertise include event planning and project management.

Angela enjoys spending free time with her husband, Bill, their two kids, Valerie and Ryan, and their sweet Australian Shepherd mix, Harley. She is the quintessential soccer mom and most weekends you will find her on a soccer sideline cheering on her kids.
Lisa Kirr

Lisa joined AOM in 2016 as the Executive Director for The Ohio Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (OAHPERD), The South Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (S.C.A.N.A.), and the West Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (WVANA). With 16 years of hospitality management and sales experience Lisa excels in event planning and administration. Lisa earned her Master of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University in 2010 and is currently working towards earning her CAE designation.

When she’s not cheering on the Buckeyes or planning her next family adventure, Lisa can usually be found with her nose in a book, exploring the outdoors, or experimenting in the kitchen (results may vary!). Spending time with her husband, son, and daughter is her favorite pastime – whether it’s hiking, playing board games, relaxing on the patio, or shouting out Jeopardy! answers (even if they’re rarely correct).
Michelle Loudon

Michelle joined Accent on Management in August 2025 as the Managing Director for the Mid America Economic Development Council. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Finance from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN, and an MBA in Marketing from Avila University in Kansas City, MO. She brings extensive experience managing operations for trade and professional associations—primarily in healthcare—with strengths in marketing, membership development, and event planning. Known for her ability to build connections, Michelle is passionate about helping people and organizations succeed.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys life with her husband, Kurt, their three children (Lucy, Noah and Justin), and their mini Aussie-Doodle, Royal. A fan of Notre Dame, her children’s colleges (William & Mary and The University of Iowa), the Chiefs, and the Royals, she also loves travel, trying new recipes, and cheering from the sidelines of baseball and soccer fields. The Loudons relocated from Kansas City in 2017 and now call Dublin, OH home.
Molly Metzger

Molly joined AOM in 2021 as the Executive Director for New York State Association of Nurse Anesthetists. In addition to 8 years of hospitality management and sales experience, Molly brings strategic and client-focused management through her roles as Client Manager and Associate Director of Strategy for Resource Ammirati, an IBM company. She volunteers as Executive Director, board treasurer and managing editor of a small non-profit. Molly earned her Masters of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Molly loves to get outside for a hike or or a bike ride. She lives with her husband in Asheville, NC, and enjoys traveling, especially to visit her daughters in Washington DC, Chicago, and Columbia, SC, but her heart will always be in Ohio.
Debbie Nunner, CAE

A Certified Association Executive (CAE), Debbie has more than 20 years of experience working with volunteer-driven Boards of Directors in not-for-profit organizations and professional associations. She enjoys working with volunteer leaders on organizational governance, strategic planning, effective budgeting and financial management. She is an experienced event-planner at local, state, and international venues. Debbie is a Senior Account Executive with Accent on Management, where she has worked for over 20 years. She earned her CAE designation in 2008 and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University. Debbie is currently the Executive Director for the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists (GLAO), the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA) and the OACTA Foundation.

Debbie, a native of central Ohio, is a mother of two, and likes to spend her free time with her husband and family. She enjoys traveling, boating and spending time outdoors.
Kayla O’Shelski

Kayla became a part of the Accent on Management team in March 2022. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a degree in Strategic Communication. Kayla is the Association Services Coordinator for the Ohio Government Finance Officers Association (Ohio GFOA), the Ohio Steel Association (OSA) and the Central Ohio Association of Corporate Counsel (CO-ACC). She also serves as the AOM office Manager, and the Managing Director for the InsurTech Coalition.

When not spending time on her coursework, Kayla enjoys spending time with her Miniature Aussiedoddle puppy. Her other interests include traveling with friends and family, going to concerts and sporting events.
Sydney Spears

Sydney joined our team in April 2023, continuing her career in hospitality. She received her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service, wedding planning & event coordination. Sydney is currently the Executive Director of the School Nutrition Association of Ohio (SNA Ohio) and the National Rural Economic Development Association (NREDA).

Sydney values spending time with family and friends, and spending time in the sun as much as Ohio will allow. She spends her free time picking up new hobbies, reading, or watching Netflix dramas and documentaries.
Isabel Summers

Isabel joined the AOM team in 2020 as the Association Services Coordinator supporting the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (MASO), the American Institute of Architects, Dayton, and the Angle Midwest Society. In 2025, she expanded her role to include the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists (MSO). Isabel holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Terry Business College of Business and brings several years of experience in customer service and office administration to her work.

When she’s not chasing after her energetic almost-four year old, Isabel enjoys spending time in the kitchen perfecting her French macarons and meringues. A beach resident, Isabel takes full advantage of sunny days and family time by the water.

Dana returned to Ohio after several years on the west coast in Carlsbad, California. When she is not working, Dana is busy renovating her nearly 130 year-old historic home, exploring the outdoors with her family and two dogs, and cheering for Notre Dame during college football season. Go Irish!
Jane Treiber

Important things to know about Jane…
Jane graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. She worked for nonprofit organizations before joining an association management firm as publications editor. When the opportunity presented itself she became a client manager and has worked with a diverse range of local, state and national trade associations and professional societies for more than 28 years. She was also director of communications and alumni affairs at Wright State University School of Medicine, organizing the first key-year reunions for graduates. Her skills include volunteer management and board governance, membership recruitment and retention, member communications, and event management.
Jane joined Accent on Management in July 2018. She is currently Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects, Dayton Chapter, and the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.

Jane has two grown children and enjoys vacationing with them every year in Nags Head, NC. When she can’t spend time with them, she babysits their 5 dogs, four of which are Australian Shepherds. She is an avid OSU Buckeye fan and enjoys traveling.
